LIGONIER MARSHMALLOW FESTIVAL
2009 CRAFT & MERCHANT SHOWCASE

Thank you for your interest in the 17th annual CRAFT SHOWCASE held during the Ligonier Marshmallow Festival over Labor Day Weekend.

This annual festival draws an attendance of approximately twenty thousand visitors. Along with the Craft Showcase, there are numerous events scheduled all three days for all age groups.

The festival also features a midway of rides, parade and abundance of food booths.

The following is a listing of the rules and regulations for the exhibiting in the Craft Showcase. We look forward to your attendance in this year’s festival.

Registration and set-up is 7:00AM to 9:00AM Saturday September 5, 2009. Be sure to have your booth manned by 9:00AM

Show Hours:

Saturday, September 5 9:00AM – 9:00PM
Sunday, September 6 9:00AM – 9:00PM
Monday, September 7 9:00AM – 5:00PM

There are only 26 spaces available, which will be assigned on a first come first serve basis. You are encouraged to register as soon as possible as all spaces have been sold in the past.

Booth size is approximately 10-foot frontage and 10-foot deep. NOTE: There will not be a large tent this year over the vendors as there been in the past.

Exhibitors are requested to sit within confines of their booth and not in the center aisle, which will be the walkway for customers.

Booth must be manned by at least one adult during all hours of the Craft Showcase.

Booths not manned will be closed and vendors asked to leave.

Vendors are required to clean their booth space of all trash and debris prior to leaving.

Limited electricity is available at no additional cost, but you must supply your own heavy duty extension cord (recommended at least 100 feet in length).

Exhibitors must furnish their own tables and chairs. All tables must be covered to the ground on three sides. Please keep all boxes and packaging material hidden from view.

To assist in booth placement and eliminate having two like booths side by side, please enclose one or two photos of your product. Photos will be returned.

As the festival is promoted as a family event, no vender may sell or exhibit any type of guns, knives, swords, silly string, alcohol, drug paraphernalia, or adult items.

It will be the responsibility of each exhibitor to obtain the licenses needed to sell their product. State sales tax is the responsibility of the vendor.

The Ligonier Marshmallow Festival Committee assumes no responsibilities for lost, or stolen or, damaged property and/ or for accidents or injuries of any nature.

The Ligonier Marshmallow Festival Committee will provide general security in the Craft area on Saturday and Sunday after hours.

All products and property must be removed no later than 6:00PM on Monday evening.

No refunds or cancellations will be made after August 15, 2009. No refund for no shows.

Placement of the vendors is at the discretion of the Craft Committee. Assigned spaces cannot be changed without approval of the Craft Committee.

If you are not interested in this show please fell free to pass this information along to other craft vendors.

You must have a State Tax Identification Number and be collecting tax. It is very good possibility that a representative from the state will show up at the festival.
